Acquire - Scaling Paid Media Performance Across a Multi-Location Healthcare Portfolio

My Role

Digital Marketing Manager | Paid Media & Performance Optimization

Responsible for overseeing and optimizing paid media performance across multiple healthcare practice accounts and markets.

My Contribution

I:

  • Monitored campaign performance across multiple accounts

  • Evaluated conversion efficiency and campaign effectiveness

  • Identified optimization opportunities based on performance trends

  • Managed and supported Google Ads initiatives

  • Evaluated alignment between campaigns and conversion experiences

  • Provided performance insights and recommendations to stakeholders

The Challenge

Managing paid media across a multi-location healthcare organization presents a different challenge than managing a single business account. Each practice operates within a different market, with unique competition, patient demand, budgets, landing pages, and performance trends.

The complexity:

Multiple Brands
200+ Locations
Different Budgets
Different Performance Levels
Different Market Competition

My Paid Media Evaluation Framework

1. Account Health

I evaluate:

  • Campaign structure

  • Budget allocation

  • Conversion tracking

  • Search terms

  • Keyword performance

2. Acquisition Performance

I analyze:

  • Conversions

  • Cost per conversion

  • Conversion rate

  • CTR

  • Spend efficiency

3. Conversion Path

I evaluate:

Ad → Landing Page → Form/Call → Conversion

4. Prioritization

Rather than making random optimizations across every account, I prioritize opportunities based on performance gaps and potential business impact.

Performance was continuously evaluated across campaign efficiency, conversion volume, conversion rate, and cost per conversion to identify opportunities for improvement.

Key Takeaway

The biggest lesson from managing paid media at scale is that standardization and individual market needs must coexist. The goal isn't to run every account identically; it's to create a consistent performance framework while adapting strategy to local market conditions.
